Understanding how a reader can copy your blog’s content is the key to preventing this from happening to you.

If a reader likes your content, the reader will more than likely subscribe to your RSS feed. The reader can then use an arsenal of tools in order turn your hard work into their easy work. Regretfully there are a numerous amount of plugins available online to accomplish this task quite easily.

3 Quick Tips to Prevent Content Copying

  • Provide your readers only a summary on your index page.

An index page is the main page of your blog.

  • Insert into each post a copyright statement. (example: This material is brought to you with careful thought by: Cheryl /”The Frugal Mistress”.)

By doing so, the statement will also appear on the copier’s blog.

  • Another cool tip, link your copyright statement back to your blog.
