Is Your Website Ready for Traffic?

One of the most important things for any Internet marketer is getting plenty of traffic to their offer. In many cases, this is going to be a website that they maintain and you can use one of these websites, either to sell your own product or you can promote those that are available through an affiliate program. In either case, you need to make sure that your website is ready for the traffic that you are about to send to it. What is the best way to do this?

As I’m sure you’re well aware, the Internet is full of distractions and in many cases, this keeps people from following things through to their logical conclusion. That is why it is important for you to keep a neat and clean website, one that will practically take your visitor by the hand and lead them to the action that needs to be taken.

Along with that, you need to keep in mind the statistic that only 15% of all of your website visitors are ever going to scroll down on your page at all. If you do not have a call to action on the opening screen of the page that is viewable without scrolling, you are leaving a lot of money on the table. This an excellent place to put a conspicuous opt in box or perhaps give somebody a single click option to take action on your website.

Above all, always make sure that you are testing your website, both in the layout and in the wording. A little bit of testing can go a long way in turning the same amount of visitors into a lot more profit.
